I have lived and worked outside (and underground a lot for the first period) for a two year period in the 70s and a three year period in the 2010s in and around the gorge. Dropped by occasionally in between as someone familiar with the area. Great Country, great times! The area deserves a National Park as one of the few recently established in the East. Oh, I watched the bridge being built and attended the opening.

This is what I call my sacred place, cause I come out here when I feel like being by myself. I used to come here with Karen Cross, she's kinda like my girlfriend, or used to be.
